For Ljubač.
Against nobody.
We want the olive groves bearing fruit again and a village that stays alive after summer. It starts with the people who live here and the people who love the place.
We link farming, sport and time in nature. Local families have a place in it. So do students, and anyone with roots in Ljubač who now lives somewhere else.
Five projects. One place.
Five projects share one purpose: preserve nature and give people a reason to be part of Ljubač.

Ljubač and ljubav (love). One letter apart.
One olive tree. Your name.
Ljubač used to be full of olive groves, and now they are being planted again. Plant your own olive in the web grove. It stays here with your name, and everyone looking at the site sees it right away, on any device.
The Croatian cross-country championship comes to Ljubač.
Three races on a new course of about 3 km, cleared on the private land of association members. The ground chose Ljubač, not the other way round.

Every member is a stone in the wall.
Dry-stone walls were built by hand, without cranes or machines, stone by stone. That is how we build the association too. Click the wall to add a stone.
There is a place where olive trees planted before you were born are waiting for you. Where the path you walk was cleared by hands you never met. Where the sea does not remember seasons, it remembers people. That place is called Ljubač.

Join us. For Ljubač.
If you live here or simply love Ljubač, there is room for you. Fill in the membership form to start.
Is Za Ljubač already an association?
Yes. Za Ljubač is an association of residents and friends of Ljubač. Rules, fees and formal enrolment are still being worked out.
How can I take part?
Contact Anđelko with an idea, a skill or time you can offer. Roles and terms are agreed separately. An enquiry does not automatically enrol you in the association.
What do the project statuses mean?
Each project is labelled as a proposal or an idea in development. A description does not guarantee an available date, parcel or programme place.
How are Za Ljubač and Ljubač Sport connected?
Ljubač Sport is the sport section of Za Ljubač. The other proposals are olive groves, volunteering, international cooperation and Ljubač 365.
How would land use be agreed?
The aim is to connect owners with people who want to care for the land. Access and terms need to be agreed before work starts. This website does not allocate parcels.
